Williamsburg Country Club is a Private, 18 hole golf course located in Williamsburg, Virginia.
Williamsburg Country Club first opened for play in 1960. The course was designed by William & David Gordon. In 2009, Golf Course architect John LaFoy updated and modernized the course while maintaining its original character. The course rebuild consisted of new tees, fairways, greens, bunkers, cart paths and a state of the art practice facility.
The greens are fast, and the fairways are tree lined. The course has water hazards that come into play on five holes, including the signature hole, #7, which requires a shot over water.
